Mark had the original idea for the abodes, he has a passion for residential design and development.
After gaining a degree in Engineering Surveying from Nottingham Trent University he worked in the Cayman Islands as a Land Surveyor. There he masterminded a start-up development company called NCB Homes, which developed some of the islands finest residential communities including Cypress Pointe and Planation.
After 12 years in the sunshine he has now returned to Somerset with his idea for abode4 to create equally attractive sustainable abodes using garden space. He loves stomping around the countryside with his wife, three kids and a dog – when he is not on the golf course or enjoying an English pub!
Andy met Mark at Nottingham Trent University, where he gained a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting and Finance.
He is the person who ensures that every element of your abode is top quality and will exceed your expectations. He joined abode4 from Alcatel-Lucent Telecommunications where he worked for 12 years. His responsibilities included managing a business unit area which turned over £10 million a year.
Andy lives in the Cotswolds with his wife and two boys and when not working likes to play golf or escape to the coast to sail and play cricket on the beach with his kids.
Vicky provides the vital backroom expertise at abode4. She has held a number of key positions in administration all over the world including Australia and Grand Cayman.
As well as running Abode4, she keeps the Sorrill domestic bandwagon on the road, looking after husband Mark, children Jack, Sam and Holly and Bear (the dog!).
The team mascot is Bear. Always there with a sympathetic look, and likes to go on those long walks where the good design ideas are thought through!
