Hotels

We work hard to ensure we reflect the style, brand and vision for the hotel within the design of our abodes.

It makes no sense to buy a “kit” lodge such as a Swedish style log cabin, which in many cases does not blend with the surroundings. The development of a non-sympathetic product on an existing site, whatever the quality, will simply detract from the overall property. At abode4 we build to the highest quality, incorporating local material including stone, to allow the abodes to complement and blend with existing property.

Many hotel operators such as The Ritz Carlton, Banyan Tree, and Mandarin Oriental have realised the value of multi use sites with hotels and longer term let or residential property.

By offering a product that appeals to people who do not like to use a traditional hotel room, they have opened up additional revenue streams, be it by sales, or rental of units.

The lodge style product is attractive to families who want their own space and guests preferring more privacy, but who still wish to enjoy the amenities and services of the hotel. Additionally, the value of on-site rental property is enhanced by the existing amenities and services of the hotel and therefore commands higher sale prices.

Our abodes are built to the highest standards and custom designed to your specifications . The production and development process means that the on-site build time for an abode is only 4 to 6 weeks with foundations on pile caps and precision built wood frames constructed off site. This means minimal disruption on site with little or no heavy equipment..

Golf Courses, Fishing and other Leisure Sites not currently offering Accommodation

Having years of experience of developing golf course and water front property in the Caribbean, abode4 is ideally placed to advise on the use of abodes on a variety of leisure properties. This could be to provide short term gains from the sale of abode sites or to increase revenue from property rental, management and increased use of the on-site facilities.

We strive to ensure that the design of the abodes adds to the overall feel of the location, whilst offering guests the best possible views and experience. All our abodes are single story and have compact footprints allowing them to site unobtrusively on the periphery of a golf course or lake without detracting from the enjoyment of playing golf or fishing.

Lodge and Caravan Parks

Many existing caravan or lodge sites have realised that there are a large numbers of people who are looking for a higher level of accommodation within existing parks and are prepared to pay more for it. abode4 can replace older caravan or lodge models with higher quality abodes allowing increased rental rates and year round occupancy due to the increase in construction quality.

How does abode4 work with Leisure Sites

Design / Build

Simple. We work with the client to design and build the right product for their location, brand and market. We are happy to undertake the planning application and work right through the process to the handover of the abode(s).

Joint Venture

We are actively looking for sites on which we may develop our abodes.

We are happy to discuss financing all construction, planning and design, and would work closely with the owner, carrying out market research to find the appropriate model and style for the site, applying for planning, and marketing/sales. Depending on circumstances, we could structure a deal with the owner to allow both parties to benefit from rental or sales proceeds from the development.
